Hi, I am a 5th-year PhD student at Yonsei University, advised by Prof. Seung-won Hwang. I am interested in improving text understanding by introducing and contextualizing metadata (ACL'18, TACL'19) of texts such as titles or keyphrases of texts which can be either given by authors (SIGIR'21) or newly created by generation/extraction/retrieval models (COLING'20, EMNLP'21). I am also interested in retrieval tasks (NAACL'22, EMNLP'22), e.g., passage/document retrieval, dense retrieval, and zero-shot retrieval tasks (EMNLP'23,). Recently, I am working on integrating the two and other downstream NLP tasks via retrieval-augmented approaches.
